Lighthouse Estates (LHE) was designed over 25 years ago. Located on the western-most tip of Roatan. Originally conceived as a semi-private community with 70 park like lots ranging from oceanfront on the Iron Shore to the hillside. Today, it has become some of the most prestigious real estate on Roatan.

This development was originally established in 1995 by Tres Cocos, S.A. This community provides underground utilities and paved roads, areas designated as “green space” along with Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) that protect the environment and preserve the beauty of the Lighthouse development.

In 2009, an informal HOA was created to maintain the grounds and areas. In 2019, the need to create a Honduran recognized/registered HOA which was presented to the community. The owners overwhelmingly approved.

Our HOA is making great strides within the community-bringing upgrades to key locations within our neighborhood. Among the completed improvement projects are speedbumps and speed limit signs, creating stepped pathways between the upper and lower roads, along with the Neighborhood Watch Program are already making a difference.  Keeping this beautiful neighborhood safe and quiet.

As with all maintenance projects of a development, they are continuous. Such as, cleaning and mowing all empty lots and common areas, removal of green waste on a weekly basis, keeping gutter and drainage systems clean, improvements and maintenance of the gazebos. All of this work is being done with the LHE owners input and majority approval. There are many more projects that will be presented as the years go on.
